About the event
Wayne County Community Schools invites you to consider how Community Schools and the STEADY Work Program can effectively partner with businesses to provide opportunities for our students and support our local economy.
Join us for a dynamic half-day event highlighting how paid work, hands-on training, and youth leadership are shaping real pathways to success. The morning features small-group experiences across STEADY Work’s social enterprises, followed by a keynote program spotlighting youth success stories, updated outcomes, and the vision ahead. Following the main program, STEADY Work participants will continue with training, mock interviews, and goal-setting.
For STEADY Work Youth Participants, this event runs from 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM
For Businesses and local community partners, this event runs from 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Businesses that register will be invited to stay from 1-3 PM to help provide mock interviews for youth, if interested.
