About the event
Lisa Hackett from the National Center for Community Schools is providing training that is mandatory for Community School Coordinators and of interest to others. Key topics include Community Schools Essentials, Harvard Ed Redesign Lab’s Success Planning, and developing plans for the year that integrate academic success. A more precise agenda will follow so that Principals can choose to attend some of the day. Goals for the day are below.
Community Schools Essentials:
Principal/Coordinator Summer Planning (Two Day In-Person Session – August 19-20, 2025)
Facilitate a two-day session with coordinators to prepare for the 2025-26 school year with the opportunity for principals to engage, when possible, in joint learning and planning. The agenda will focus on achieving the following objectives:
Build a deeper understanding of the Essentials for Community School Transformation framework and clarify the role of the Community School Coordinator (CSC) in advancing it.
