Acerca del evento

Wayne County Community Schools, with help from the NYS Rural Schools Association and the NYS Community Schools Technical Assistance Center, is convening school and county leadership to consider the impact of the Community Schools strategy in Wayne County.  We look at past success, our current situation, and our future goals. We consider what place-based work that builds a cradle to career continuum looks like in Wayne County.  This is a critical time for our efforts.  While we have lost Federal investment, we have built a sustainable coalition we can use to work together to shape what it means to grow up in Wayne County. We are joined by the Children's Funding Project, a national consulting firm available to Wallace grantees. This firm will help us find pathways forward for our shared ideas.
