Have you heard the "buzz" around Wayne County about the Get Ready to Grow Comprehensive Early Childhood Screenings? Do you have questions about how our team can help your Early Childhood program/ school district? We strive to make sure ALL students entering your programs have access to the essentials for learning BEFORE starting their formal education experience.
Our Wayne County Community Schools Get Ready to Grow Team can help ensure your youngest learners are as prepared as possible for their educational journey!
Using state-of-the-art equipment, our team of professionals with extensive Early Childhood development knowledge can conduct screenings on children ages 1-5. We screen for potential issues in vision, hearing, dental, height/weight & BMI, speech, and motor skills.
As you may know, we have screened over 300 children since we began in early 2023. This is with our group of 5 screeners and we are looking forward to continued success through deeper collaboration. Your support will help build that collaboration.Â
Join us for an informational luncheon at Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club on July 18th. Coffee and conversation will begin at 10 am and we will share information about our program with you. Our team will show you what parents leave the screening with and the information that programs and districts will have about their youngest learners! We hope to discuss future collaboration and sustainability of the Wayne County Get Ready to Grow Program by building a system that includes shared services and funding with your districts and agencies.Â
There will be time for questions and a luncheon will be provided.
